Radio Dopo in Berlino | Francesco Lo Nigro & Alex Samuels

Alex Samuels and Francesco Lo Nigro speak with Refuge Worldwide co-founder Richard Akingbehin about the establishment of Radio Dopo, a new community web radio in Palermo, made possible through funding from the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union and developed in collaboration with Refuge Worldwide and Kiosk Radio in Brussels.

Radio Dopo’s foundation stands on two equal pillars. The first pillar supports Palermo’s emerging artistic and musical communities, with a special focus on musical subcultures, and experimentation. The second pillar is devoted to conversation and discourse, amplifying voices from Palermitan institutions in the broadest sense.

The conversation is followed by a special Palermo-focused DJ set from Lo Nigro aka DJ Shrimp.
