Francesco Lo Nigro

Francesco Lo Nigro is a musicologist, DJ and music writer from Palermo. He holds a Master’s degree in Ethnomusicology, with research focusing on Lebanese zaffa and orally transmitted musical practices from Sicily and the Middle East.

He currently writes for T-Mag, covering underground electronic music and its cultural contexts. Alongside his work in music and journalism, he volunteers at Centro Astalli, providing Italian language support and interpretation for refugees.

In 2025 he became station manager of Radio Dopo together with Gaia Salamone.
