Robert Owens is synonymous with the birth and formation of the early ‘golden era’ underground Chicago house music scene. Robert is is the voice, pen and giration behind many of the era’s most seminal cuts with his work with the late great Frankie Knuckles and Satoshi Tomiie on ‘Tears’, Ron Wilson and Larry Heard in Fingers Incl, Photek’s ‘Mine to Give' and his own ‘I’ll Be Your Friend'.
