Lavan

Born in East London and raised in Essex, Lavan is the youngest in a family of British/Malaysian descent. Having honed his craft through cracked computer software and his father’s old funk/soul records, he was later introduced to house music via his roommate turned label partner. This accidental encounter would lead to his relocation to Berlin, where the Ascension on Wax record label was created. His recent releases have been receiving support from the likes of Cinthie and Louise Chen. Still residing in Berlin, Lavan’s unwavering passion sees him steadily cementing his place in underground music culture.
