Ascension on Wax | Lavan & Philippa

Philippa is one of New Zealand's finest exports. She has been true to her craft throughout the different stages of house music culture still sounding fresh yet with that finesse only a seasoned DJ can possess. We were lucky enough to have her grace the turntables at our Ascension party a few years back and it went down as our best party to date. Since then she has been cementing her place in the house music scene, DJing at Berghain/Panorama Bar plus releasing music on Slothboogie and Freerange Records. It's high time we bring Philippa on the AoW show for some music and chit-chat. You're in for a treat.

Ascension on Wax is a Berlin-based house music label focused on collaborating with visual artists and dance music producers for vinyl releases. AoW works with contemporary producers who are influenced by the jazzy and soulful sound that flourished in the 90s US East Coast scene.
