The living legend Jon Dixon is joining for this edition of Ascension on Wax. Our latest AOW005 release (DFRA - Quiet Storm EP) features a breathtaking remix by Jon Dixon. Having reached out initially about the remix we learnt Jon is not only an extremely talented jazz pianist/music producer/DJ but is also a down to earth character full of heart and soul. We extended the invite to feature on the AoW radio show and Jon kindly accepted. Ascension on Wax is a Berlin-based house music label focused on collaborating with visual artists and dance music producers for vinyl releases. AoW works with contemporary producers who are influenced by the jazzy and soulful sound that flourished in the 90s US East Coast scene.
