Smoothin Groovin: Roma Day special | Niko G & TRU:L

A special edition of Smoothin Groovin, hosted by the unique Romja artist Niko G., as the master of ceremony, together with the Romanian ally - TRU:L, with the occasion of International Roma Day.

Expect 2 hours of Roma music, showcasing the variety of sounds, originated in the community. Featuring messages from Romani activists, dedications and overall empowerment energy.

International Roma Day is about recognizing Roma as a diverse European people contributing to the European fabric with their distinct cultural heritage, languages, history and traditions. On the 8th of April, we celebrate the uniqueness and richness, while we continue to raise awareness on the severe economic and human rights situation of our communities at national level, in an effort to enable greater solidarity and better state responses to the social marginalization and racism faced by the Roma.
