The founder of Equiknoxx (the group) and Equiknoxx Music (the label) hails from East Kingston, Jamaica, and has been producing under the Equiknoxx Music imprint for over ten years.

While his first success was the Billboard charting single, “Step Out” by Busy Signal, Gavsborg’s left-field approach to production has afforded him the opportunity to work with a wide variety of artists and labels from different corners of music, such as Missy Elliott, Aidonia, Dirty Projectors, Palmistry, Addis Pablo, De La Ghetto, Busy Signal, Spice, DDS, Swing Ting, Domino Records, and more.

Outside music production duties, he has toured extensively with the Equiknoxx Collective as a DJ and live music performer, making stops all over Europe, the Americas, the United Kingdom, and Asia.
