Limbo Love | Merma Suelo, Amuleto Manuela, & m13ld3m0r4

There is this place where certain souls fall, echoing in a loop. For love. Love… a space with different times and colours. Breaking this time. During the last winter, transversal poet and sound artist Merma Suelo sent letters including sound episodes emerging from “Love Limbo” by post to friends. A dimension they have been exploring and inhabiting through relation and romantic reflections. She refers to the sound pieces as episodes or scenes, as they don’t necessarily fit into the “mix” category. Most of the sounds and music were produced and composed to bring them to life. For this Refuge takeover, she will share the episodes and letters in conversation with Amuleto Manuela. For the second hour, she will have Berenice Llorens as a guest sharing an old project of hers titled “Cartas de amor que se queman” (Love Letters to Burn). Together with Merma, the pair will be playing tunes and reading them aloud. To close, until midnight, m13ld3m0r4 will melt us with a set that explores, plays, traverses, and breaks different concepts of amor and romance.
