With Mohamed-Ali Ltaief and Banishsh

In this edition of the Interlude radio show, we welcome Simone Guido Izzi, also known as Banishsh. He is an Italian Berllin-based sound artist, electronic music producer, and DJ. His sonic research focuses on sub-frequency sounds, the unheard and the polyrhythmic—sonic practice as subversive poetic. Currently running SMM0000 record label and Room 411 studio in Berlin.

Tune in to Refuge Worldwide on Wednesday, 26 November, from 3 pm to 4 pm, to embark on a journey through the sound archive of the 1969 Pan-African Festival in Algiers. The programme will also delve into related counter-archives from Tunis, Sicily and Naples.
