For the fifth edition of “shoes-off” elliephunk is back once again with her pastel-colored bunny slippers, another stack of CDs, and this time, she’s taking the “shoes-off” concept for a playful spin.

Inspired by the multidimensionality of “being a Berlin-based artist”, she’s shifting the spotlight onto talented friends who don’t just dabble with the decks, but also move fluidly between forms, expressing themselves far beyond music.

Meet her next house guest: Hääää, better known as Harry Ware. A spin instructor, a hair stylist assistant, and a gifted painter whose pieces will be showcased for the first time at the next daytime edition of casadephunk for Fête de la musique on June 21st.

Both share a love for Berlin’s queer dancefloors, tasteful tunes (regardless of BPM or genre), and soundtracking spin sessions — whether that’s on the decks or on a bike. This 2-hour segment will mark the first time “shoes-off” explores a B2B format, where two artists will be blurring the lines between the “ON” and the “OFF” — shifting from the playful & bouncy into the chill & soulful… sprinkling in a bit of chit-chat, trading stories along the way, and closing with a powerful spoken word piece by Fwá (f.k.a. Sasa E), first performed at WHOLE Festival 2024.

Let's call this one a cheers to the many facets of being a creative cutie in a city like Berlin. Or maybe, a musical love letter to the truth that each and every one of us has more than one version of ourselves — shining light on the many different sides of being human: all equally real, equally valid, and all beautifully worthy of expression.
