Bass Incarnate

Bass incarnate, hosted by AfroOankali, celebrates bass music rooted in the African Diaspora alongside embodied mindfulness practices. Each show is a journey through genres including Bailie, Hip Hop, Footwork, Deep House, Afro Bass, Garage and 2 step with the intention to get you dancing. Bass incarnate begins with a downtempo embodiment practice, then builds up the polyrhythmic intensity before ending with some downtempo tracks to ground out. 

AfroOankali serves ritual bass: a hypnotic blend of low end frequencies and polyrhythms which celebrates the Afro-Caribbean influence in electronic music, underground club culture and the healing potential of bass music. AfroOankali is London born, living in Berlin.
