MAMBO PUNK invites Orieta Chrem.

Orieta is a DJ, sound engineer, and producer from Lima, Peru, active for over two decades. A key figure in the city’s electronic underground, she runs the party series and radio show LA RARA, spotlighting Peruvian and Latin American talent with a focus on boundary-pushing artists.

She was the first Peruvian selected for Red Bull Music Academy (Rome, 2004) and performed at the first Boiler Room Lima alongside Loefah, Madame X and Kahn. In 2014 she founded QMULUS SOUND, one of Lima’s first female-led sound studios, working across recording, sound design and mixing/mastering, including projects with Los Ballumbrosio, and hosting artists such as DJ Spinn, Robert Henke, Mad Professor, Branko, Matias Aguayo, Channel One and Macky Banton.
