Yasmin is a contemporary yet old-school influenced vocalist based in Germany and Mexico. Her unique style draws from R'n'B and hip-hop as well as her love for roots reggae, dub and jazz. She started writing songs at the early age of 13 and has performed in France, Germany, Switzerland and Mexico. She reflects on her experiences of growing up between two cultures through music and art. Yasmin's biggest musical idols are Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Mos Def, Robert Glasper, J.Dilla and many more.
