Ryuichi Sakamoto's half-century-long career has changed music and film as we know it. In this show, Refuge regular Kiki teams up with artist and writer Bruno De Marco to reflect on and remember Sakamoto's life and work. Beginning with his latest album, released only months before his passing, the duo travels back in time through the artist's music and stories reaching his staunch activism, boundary-pushing experimental work, and renowned film scores, all the way back to his work as part of the trailblazing synth-pop trio Yellow Magic Orchestra, and his very first releases.
