Sonic Rituals | Alifiyah

Alifiyah is a sound nomad, sonic researcher, community organizer and writer based in Berlin. Her practice focuses on sound as an inquiry into lived experience, possibilities of relational listening through intimacy, encounter and experimental group settings for embodiment practices to explore how the ear, breath, voice, gesture and movement alter the way we relate to ourselves and one another.

Alifiyah works with field recordings, experiments with electroacoustic processes, longform ambient and ephemeral forms. She is interested in making and sounding instruments with her partner Vlad, who is a wizard and a gem.
