YUI is a Berlin-based (by way of Tokyo) DJ whose sets are characterized by the multi-layered nature of Japanese pop culture. These experiments trampoline between J-pop to choral music, jazz to chiptune, bootlegs to spoken word, delivering inexpressible emotional layers.
