Fifth Degree explores the emerging cultural connections between the Cape Town and Berlin electronic music scenes. They are, after all, just five degrees of longitude apart. Through conversations with South African artists (Athie Umgido, Deylin Universe, Floyd Lavine, Meek and Yamz), the show explores the growing spotlight on their music scene, the challenges SA artists face in Europe, and the influx of European collectives heading down south.
