In this episode of Radio Calais we take our series ‘Why are people on the move?’ to the Democratic Republic of Congo, a long history of turbulence, violent repression, colonisation and strife. We report after taking part in anti-fascist mobilisations to resist the fascist, racist, and anti-migrant riots that happened across the UK in August. First up we have Cate-May who is covering the journeys people are making across Europe and the peril they are experiencing doing so.
