Cultural Cadence | Moehecan & Mo Kanaan

For this edition of Cultural Cadence, we're joined by filmmaker Mo Kanaan to discuss his short film “When The Music Ends” created in collaboration with Me Too Music; an initiative confronting sexual harassment and abuse within club culture.

A Germany-based director of Lebanese-Palestinian descent, Mo works across short film, music, documentary and commercial projects. His practice centers on intimate and human stories. Bridging the personal and the political with a quiet sense of urgency.

Together they'll discuss the realities that exist beyond the dancefloor, reflecting on power, vulnerability and the unspoken dynamics that shape nightlife spaces.
