Radio Alhara pres.: Fares & Nawras – Mystic Futurism

Radio Alhara residents Fares Salameh and Nawras Moughrabi put together a mix of experimental music from Palestine and beyond. Most of the songs stem from sets recorded live on Radio Alhara at the Wonder Cabinet in Bethlehem.

Fares Salameh is a Palestinian artist, musician, and filmmaker. Captivated by non‑traditional cinema as a tool for change and reflection, they are currently directing their first film, touching on sensory ethnography, existence,  anthropology of industry and veganism. 

Nawras Moughrabi is a Palestinian multidisciplinary artist working across music, photography, filmmaking, performance, and visual arts. Since childhood, music and image-making have been central to her life and practice. A classically trained vocalist, she has performed internationally for nine years. Recenlty, she has developed a self-taught practice in improvisation and sonic composition, learning synthesizer and keyboard. As a DJ, she is expanding her work into live electronic performance, deepening her exploration of rhythm, layering, and sound.
