Buriti Sol | João Comazzi & Rafa Souza

Buriti Sol is a fundraising project where music supports community. This edition raises funds for Dona Aparecida Carneiro and the Posto de Assistência Menino Jesus in Goiânia, Brazil, whose decades of community work have provided care, meals, and support to those in need. All donations will contribute to the completion of their new hospital.

João & Rafa, co-founders of Buriti, open the series with a deeply personal selection of Brazilian music. Moving through rare samba recordings, MPB, and forró, the session unfolds through the sounds that filled their homes, family gatherings, and childhood memories, celebrating the richness and diversity of Brazil's musical heritage.
