The Field is the project of Swedish producer and musician Axel Willner, whose 2007 debut 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘞𝘦 𝘎𝘰 𝘚𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘦 on Kompakt helped define a generation of loop-based electronic music. Known for his hypnotic, layered approach to texture and repetition, Willner has been a singular presence in the electronic music landscape for nearly two decades.
