Satoshi Tomiie is a legendary Japanese-born, New York-based DJ, producer, and pianist who pioneered house music in the late 1980s. Famous for his 1989 debut hit "Tears" with Frankie Knuckles, he is a former member of Def Mix Productions and continues to shape the electronic scene with a deep, tech-house sound.
