Azulecer | Irene Fernandez Arcas

Azulecer or Bluening is a conversation with blue vibes: what Irene understands as maybe joyfull, calme, spacious, intimate, and a little unpredictable.... waves of warmth inviting listeners to drift, reflect, breath fully, lay down, or dance, and find their own shade of blue.

The show paints together a long research on Blue (listening actively to what that colour has to say, not what we have been told that it is), the emotions it evokes, and music inspired by it. Azulecer is a collage of some vinyl discoveries, field recordings, and poems or pieces from my performance archive, exploring the curative power of art, and as well those from sound and blue :)

Azulezer is a bit loquito, a journey in different types of emotions, for a saturday morning of joy and blue sky (to celebrate that shining sun always inside and maybe outside too).
