Ambient Sleepers | Prieste5s

Prieste5s is a Berlin-based electronic musician, DJ, live-coder, and visual artist. In her own productions, Prieste5s fuses versatile influences from across the genre spectrum - bass-heavy sounds, hypnotic techno elements, breakbeats, ambient, and experimental influences characterize her sonic palette. She takes her inspiration from a variety of different sources, and is passionate about experimentation in music as well as exploring the unexpected crossovers between different genres and different mediums.

Inspired by her fascination of the untouched wilderness, natural history, and geology, Prieste5s’ sound is a synthesis of organic sound design and psychedelic atmospheres. Utilizing field recordings and found sounds from various sources including nature, her travels and archival footage, her music is an expression of the transience of experience, and the ephemerality of the natural world. She is also the founder of Immaterial Earth, a project exploring the concept of bliss, emotionality, and the delicate interaction of ecosystem and organism.
