aequa is a community for social equity. We are an intersectional community of people brought together by our shared vision of a world in which everyone can thrive. Through daily practices of solidarity and mutual support, together we explore both our individual potential and our collective power.
With spring here, we’re going to be exploring the theme of transformation — cycles of death and rebirth, what it means to cultivate new worlds in ourselves and in the spaces we inhabit. When it comes to how we exist with others, to how we collaborate, what does it mean to believe in transformation — how does that shape the way we proceed when harm happens?
To discuss these questions and more, we’re honored to have Care, of the project Selflovetribute. Care (they/them) is a light-skinned Black trans non binary trauma-informed care practitioner, transformative justice & eco-somatic practitioner, artist and doula, whose work focuses on re-membering somatic experiences of awe, connection, miracles and care. Their work blooms at the intersection of Black interiority, somatic memory and queer intimacies. https://www.selflovetribute.com/
