ADUNO Soundsystem is a sonic vessel and research practice that traces the evolution of musical language as a medium for resistance, healing and (re)memory. In Dogon tradition, aduno is a ceremonial ark, a sacred container for offerings and a threshold between the living and ancestral. This work carries that same function where the soundsystem becomes a living archive where frequencies move across time, gathering what remains beyond systems of erasure to map the phenomena of African and diasporic expressions.
