Podcasting Academy

Refuge Worldwide & Unity In The Community are producing a new Podcasting Academy this July in collaboration with Shure Inc.

Over the course of eight weeks, participants will gain an in-depth introduction into the world of podcasting, learning everything from Audio- and Video-editing to interview and microphone techniques as well as the history of the medium. Participants will be given the opportunity to learn on industry standard podcasting equipment from Shure.

The course will run in weekly Monday sessions beginning on July 7th, from 18:30 - 21:00, with an introduction into the podcasting medium by the music journalist, DJ, cellist and producer Chloe Lula. Other mentors include the documentary film prodcer Giorgia Malatrasi; the curator, coach & consultant Miriam Camara; social scientist researcher Dr. Kerstin Meissner; and DJ & music producer Graeme Batemen (aka Gramrcy).
