The 90mil Art School autumn programme has begun!

This week brings the beginning of the new session at 90mil's Art School: 10 weeks of amazing courses and workshops to suit every taste.

Kicking off with a workshop on sound, light, and video for public interventions, the programme brings a whole range of offerings: learn how to create huge public artworks, explore the power of language, make stop-motion films, find presence in performance, discover Ableton, or learn to scream.

All kinds of artists and experts guide you through the courses. Whether you’re an artist, or an art lover, or simply a curious mind, 90mil Art School welcomes all levels, ensuring room to learn and experiment. While most workshops run over several weeks, there are also one-off options, including cyanotype printing and a workshop on building your own microphone. Across three separate DIY sessions, you can learn how to build three different types of mics… from scratch.

With the motto „It's never too late for art school“, 90mil was created as an independent space for creative learning. At its core lies not just nurturing skills, but translating political, economic, or purely personal concerns into one’s own way of making art. And in doing so, it contributes to what matters most in times of heavy cultural cutbacks in Berlin: building connection and community. 90mil can be found near Jannowitzbrücke, offering studios, exhibition space, a performance venue, theatre, and more.
