Sunayah

Sunayah is a ​L​ondon-based creative produc​er, journalis​t, DJ and event produc​er/programm​er. She is also a Co-Director at AZEEMA​, a media platform and creative agency.

Sunayah's practice utilises storytelling to underscore cultural nuances, creative expression and heritage​. Her portfolio spans a range of projects, from editorials to music videos, digital campaigns to community events.​

As a DJ, she's inspired by local and global sounds. Mixing traditional and contemporary beats, her sets fuse multiple genres within the categories of electronic and rnb, including Afro house, gqom, reggaeton, UKG, grime and sounds of the Asian underground.

Alongside her freelance ​w​ork, Sunayah is interested in​ documenting the cultural practices and craftsmanship of Asia within beauty, fashion and art, through her ongoing ​research project 'RASMi'.

She has previously worked with the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Nike, adidas, Converse, Spotify UK, Ahluwalia, British Fashion Council, Premier League, Pinterest, Sony Music and Warner Music.
