Lưu Bích Ngọc (she/her) is a Berlin-based cultural worker. Her focus is on the accessibility and empowerment in the arts, culture, and academia, especially with transdisciplinary - intersectional approaches. Her zine ‘nhớ nhớ quên quên’ (2025) studies the practices of mourning and rememberance between marginalized communities in Central Vietnam and Berlin. Most recently, she curated two film festivals titled ‘Dear Vietnam’ (2024) and ‘Vietnam 50!’ (2025).
Other co-coordinated workshops are: On Cloud Nine – A Photography Workshop with Southeast Asian (diasporic) queers (Schwules Museum, Berlin, 2025); Flying Fish Tales (Nổ Cái Bùm festival, Vietnam, 2024); screening program ‘Con ơi, cơm chín rồi’ (Linden Museum, Stuttgart, 2024); coconut jelly (Wandering Salon festival, Berlin, 2023).
Her writings and translations are published in Art Republik Vietnam, ‘Re-Connect. Kunst und Kampf im Bruderland - Art and Conflict in Brotherland‘ catalogue, Stadtsprachen, Zzz Review, and Mơ Art Space. Her graduation thesis is titled ‘Decolonizing Translation. Empowering Strategies through Cultural Perspectives – Three Case Studies from Vietnam.’
