Indra Roy

Indra Roy is a Berlin-based DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist with a deep fascination for musical storytelling and global soundscapes. With over a decade of live performance experience across drums, flute, piano and electronic production, his sets draw from a rich palette of genres and cultures weaving together global grooves and diasporic sounds into vibrant, transportative journeys. Raised in Sydney and now based in Berlin, Indra brings a unique perspective shaped by years of performing in bands - most recently with Sydney based funk-jazz-neo-soul collective Alma More - and a passion for languages, history and cultural exchange. Fluent in French and English, a teacher of Latin, and a student of Spanish and German, his interest in language deeply informs his musical selections – not just lyrically, but also rhythmically and harmonically as well. As a DJ, Indra delivers genre-blurring sets steeped in unconventional rhythms and sounds, deep grooves and bold selections. Whether playing a dancefloor set or a more introspective listening session, he traverses genres from disco to dub, garage to jazz, house to soul - crafting a journey that takes you around the world and back.
