Halosaur

Stéphane Lefrançois moves through electronic music like a cartographer of voltage, sketching rhythm, texture and space under a constellation of aliases including Halosaur, S L F and S.E.T. Born in France and now based in Berlin, his work spans house, techno, jungle and modular improvisation, balancing dancefloor propulsion with deep listening. Releases on labels such as R&S, KMS, K7, Classic and Tuskegee showcase a distinctive sound shaped by polyrhythmic drums, dubwise atmospheres and a cinematic sense of tension and release. A resident artist at Gaswerksiedlung Berlin, he curates the MODULA series dedicated to live modular performance and sonic experimentation, while also teaching modular synthesis and drumming through workshops and mentorship.
