Aroma Pitch

Aroma Pitch is an electronic music trio from Berlin. The group grew up in Cologne and began to create various types of electronic dance music with their analogue synthesizers, drum machines and harmonized instruments at quite an early age. Being inspired by versatile fields such as classical drumming and Jazz piano they show great enthusiasm for sophisticated rhythms and multi-layered chords. With their unforeseeable and unique collection of throbbing techno, synthesized disco, raw house and other outernational grooves they provide a continual mood of surprise and discovery to their listeners.

After moving to Berlin in 2010 the collective founded their own record label called APR on which they have released five EPs to date – some of which were supported and played by artists like Moodymann, Avalon Emerson, Job Jobse, Marcel Dettmann, Funkineven, Young Marco and many more. With the Munich based record label Public Possession they found a new home to release their latest music on sine 2021, including their debut album 'Interlife'.

Since 2011 they have been resident DJs and co-curators of the event series Cologne Sessions which takes place at JAKI (former Studio 672). On a monthly basis, they bring together Cologne’s music lovers to experience new rhythms and sounds presented by a wide range of international renowned artists as well as NRW's local heroes.

Next to this the boys express their passion for free improvised electronic music nights at Club OHM several times a year under the name of “Equations Collective”.
