Well Gedacht

This workshop by Well Gedacht Publishing offers participants cool ways to listen and explore music while divesting from Spotify and other commercial music streaming platforms. It invites them to learn more about and practice peer-to-peer (P2P) sharing methods. Participants will turn old smartphones into digital audio players (DAPs), and curated playlists made by different DJs and artists will be shared with the participants to take home. Discover P2P file sharing, and self-hosted media servers to setup your own streaming service.

Bring your old smartphones to turn them into digital audio players, your old or new MP3 or digital audio players, iPods etc, your USB drives! If you don't have a device, there will be a very limited number of old MP3 players for you to grab.

Please note the host’s have purchased MP3 players for this workshop and so there is an optional donation suggested to cover their costs.
