Refuge Worldwide x Safelight: Aspiring Photography Competition

A photography open call exploring change in urban space. Radio station Refuge Worldwide and Safelight Film Lab collaborate on a photography competition, inviting up-and-coming photography enthusiasts to take a photo with the theme “A City In Transition”. The city can be anywhere. We are looking for personal perspectives on transformation - social, cultural, political, architectural, emotional. Shot on anything. This competition is intended for amateur/hobbyist/up-and-coming photographers, not people who make their main living by taking photos. Each participant can submit a maximum of 5 images (max 10MB each) plus titles & descriptions via this form. The deadline to submit is Monday, April 6th. Winners will receive prizes from EDWIN, as well as from photography brands Polaroid and CineStill, and also from hosts Refuge and Safelight. The winners will be announced at Refuge Worldwide’s space on April 18th (5-10PM), when we will also host an exhibition of all the photos submitted, an Emulsion Lift workshop for all participants, a radio show and a DJ set. The event is open to all, both people who submitted photos and those just interested to come by. This event is supported by EDWIN Supply, and with additional prizes contributed by Polaroid and CineStill. The workshop element takes place in collaboration with Refuge’s non-profit, Unity In The Community gUG.
