Pitchfork Festival Photography Workshop
As part of Pitchfork Music Festival Berlin this year, Refuge Worldwide will co-host a photography workshop let by Maria Louceiro on Saturday 28 October from 12:00-15:00.
Hosted at Oona Bar / Refuge Worldwide studios, the workshop covers how to build a photography portfolio, advice for finding clients, how to capture compelling portraits, tips for posing and composition, working with models, as well as how to think creatively and experiment with abstract and experimental photography techniques.
Participants will also be given press passes for the festival in order to test their new skills!
Cameras will be provided for the workshop purposes but please free free to bring your own. Please fill in the application form below, deadline is October 17, and we will get back to you on October 19 for confirmation.
About the host: Maria Louceiro is a freelance photographer and art director based in Berlin. Her clients include Pitchfork, VICE and Getty Images. She studied mining and geo-environmental engineering but found that she loved drawing and photographing the mines much more than actually working in them. Maria works with both analog and digital photography and brings a dreamy approach to her images.
