Film Screening: Tutti Frutti - El Templo del Underground

SCREAMING.doc #2 presents Tutti Frutti: El Templo del Underground at Refuge Worldwide on November 19, 2026.

Tutti Frutti: The Temple of the Underground tells the story of a clandestine Mexico City bar in the 1980s, a legendary venue that embodied a rebellious generation. Counterculture and music figures gathered there, creating space for artistic expression after years of repression, inspired by the social awakening that followed the 1985 earthquake and the Zapatista movement. The film pays tribute to that place and its people.

Radio Show: 14:00-15:00, Rockin’ Weird (Crizia), with director Laura Ponte and film composer Mateo Sánchez Galán.

Screening: 19:30, German Premiere, followed by a Q&A with Laura Ponte and Anna Frick (SCREAMING.doc, a nomadic documentary screening project). Sliding scale entrance at the door: 7-10€ RSVP below ⬇️
