Climate Cafe

CREATIVE-SUSTAINABILITY presents Climate Cafe

Climate Cafe, hosted by Eilidh McLaughlin, is a space to share the intense and complex feelings associated with a changing climate and warming world.

The concept is simple: join us to talk (and listen) to others about climate change. There are no experts, lectures, advice, or actions; it’s simply an opportunity to discuss your thoughts and feelings safely and confidentially in a warm, cosy environment.

This event is open to people who have experienced difficult feelings around the climate. We aim to create a culture of care and participant safeguarding is of great importance. Climate Cafe's provide a sense of commonality and community, encouraging participants to face their feelings head on.

Eilidh McLaughlin is the founder of Creative-Sustainability and Clean:Scene. The concept of a Climate Cafe is adapted from the Death Cafe, brought to the climate space by the Climate Psychology Alliance where Eilidh trained as a facilitator.

Tea and soft drinks will be provided.

When: Tuesday 5 November 19:30-21:00 Where: Refuge Worldwide (Niemetzstraße 1, 12055)
