A day of music, film, food, friendship, and solidarity. Buriti Sol returns to bring people together in support of the incredible work of Dona Aparecida Carneiro and the Posto de Assistência Menino Jesus in Goiânia, Brazil. For decades, Dona Aparecida and her volunteers have dedicated their lives to caring for their community offering healing practices, preparing meals for those in need, supporting young mothers, and creating a space rooted in love and mutual aid. Today, they are in the final stages of building a new hospital, and every donation raised through Buriti Sol will go directly towards helping complete this important project. Throughout the day, we'll host a Refuge Worldwide Radio Takeover featuring Ani Phoebe, Encanto, and João Comazzi b2b Rafa Souza, alongside a screening of silent film from Caiu Cajá, followed by homemade Brazilian food.
