Several weeks ago, Aver received a textual provocation from Toro of Atemporal Projects claiming he would show him "what good hip-hop is", implying a lack of knowledge on Aver's part, and in turn setting in motion the youtube rabbit hole you are about to bear witness to...

To display his vast understanding of the lesser-known-yet-still-amazing lost gems of hip-hop, Aver sent Toro a Biggie Freestyle from a Funk Flex mixtape from the mid-90's, which stunned Toro into submission!

Aver's brain then filled with random track after random track that he could also send, and so he began to compile a track list of music that he had listened to in the 2000s. A more innocent time, before streaming and smart phones, where you had to do extensive research in record shops and magazines, as well as the new frontier of sites like Kazaar, Limewire and Napster, in order to find music that was not mainstream and follow word of mouth breadcrumb trails and album credit notes to find untold wonders.

The music contained in the show isn't really available on the streaming services due to it never being officially released, but what it lacks in audio quality it will make up for in sheer creative quality, rareness and swearing.
