Solar Narratives | George Snow & Shatter Hands

With George Snow

George is joined by Johan aka Shatter Hands with a set for waning summer days. In the first hour, George plays some old and recent finds and then for 45 mins, Shatter Hands throws in a beat set presenting his latest releases.

Shatter Hands has firmly established himself as one of the biggest talents on the thriving European beat scene. Since his 2011 debut This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things (SoundEsc.) and the 2012 follow-up Land Fly (Urban Waves Records), he has remixed Herbie Hancock and Cal Tjader live at CPH Jazz Festival in 2014 and 2016 respectively, toured twice with Danish DJ royalty Den Sorte Skole and did his DJ residency at Roskilde Festival in 2019. He has had guest shows, tracks and mixes featured by XLR8R, Red Bull Studios, Worldwide FM, as well as NTS Radio, Kiosk Radio and Jay Scarletts Sounds Supreme show on Puls Radio. Recently he released his solo project “Alive On Arrival“ on Belgian label Urban Waves as well as the collaborative EP “Buzzin’” with local hero Animmac, on Berlin-based Ouvo Records. He is one-third of the producer group Berlin Zoo and co-runs the label Super Bad Disco out of Copenhagen. Deeply rooted in his love for jazz and hip hop, and yet thoroughly forward-pushing, Shatter Hands is steadily gaining the international acclaim his music deserves.
