SHUSH Takeover | douniah

Berlin's own SHUSH collective is taking over the airwaves on Refuge Worldwide for an extended session. Joining them are a number of guests and friends, sharing some of the distinct flavour of their events with radio listeners.

douniah is an interdisciplinary artist exploring waves of sound and poetry on her own terms and time. Her sound is heavily influenced by Black American music, North African Gnaoua music and everything her mom listened to while growing up between Hamburg and Agadir. Whatever she creates, douniah illuminates herself and her surroundings with a critical and strong voice, hoping to create an Echo for you to sit with.
