The writer Hiba Obaid and photographer Mohamed Badarne discuss what makes Sonnenalle in Berlin feel like home for many migrants from the Arab region and how it inspired their documentary photographic project 'Wanas'.

‘Wanas’ (Arabic): a feeling of, for example, being on your own when you hear a song or come across a smell that reminds you of your homeland and you want to ‘hug’ it, absorb it.
