Queer liberation: a focus on Turkey | Laura Caprino, Bambi & Irem

This special focus explores the current political climate in Turkey through the experiences, struggles, and voices of the queer community.

It looks at the state of LGBTQAI+ rights, the challenges facing queer people and activists, and the ongoing efforts for visibility, equality, and queer liberation.

In conversation with two members of the local queer community, the show explores the country's political and social background and the meaning of resistance, solidarity, and freedom in today’s Turkey.
