Mental Health in Clubs | Vy Tran

With Vy Tran

An irregular sleep schedule, the difficult distinction between work and private life, and dealing with unpredictable guests are just some of the challenges faced by club employees, according to the results of seven focus group discussions. Current club employees are permanently exposed to psychological pressure, which has a negative impact on everyday life and can have long-lasting consequences.

The Clubcommission Berlin asks itself how the mental health of nightlife workers can be protected in the future and how the organizational resilience of clubs can be strengthened.

As a funded INQA project and in cooperation with partners from science, medicine, psychology and the BGF coordination office, the Berlin Clubcommission aims to scientifically test psychosocial interventions to improve the mental health of club employees and to strengthen the organizational resilience of clubs in the pilot phase. How can clubs create an environment that better protects their employees from the psychological stresses and pressures they face at work?

One of the project organizers is Vy Tran, who will introduce you shortly about the project and will give you an musical warm welcome before the panel talk together with The Coping* Club.
