He got in into Afrobeats about 7 years ago, and Amapiano became one of his most beloved branches of this evergrowing and expanding musical movement from the continent. The idea of recording an Amapiano mix was already in Genys' mind, so a friend's invitation to play at Refuge Worldwide came right on time.
