International and Local Solidarity | Radio Calais

Time to return! Turn up the volume on our early mission to talk about acts of solidarity and friendship. In this episode, we have two interviews: one local, one global. A Care 4 Calais volunteer based in Sussex and an International Solidarity Movement activist working in the West Bank, Palestine. Both are reality checks against the right-wing algorithm and a media narrative that has been busy dehumanising displaced peoples. Palestinians only appear as numbers, even though each person is a unique life. Migrants are called illegal, when migration is, and has always been, a basic human activity.
