Moses Mawila aka Frozilla is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, creative, coach, and label manager. He’s one of the co-founders of LowMoneyMusicLove, as well as the founder of Sundowner., System Error, Fresh Tunez, and all attached sub-labels like Party Bombs Various Artists Series and the Collaborative Series. He's well established as both a promoter and label head and since 2022 more frequently as a DJ with monthly gigs at Berlin’s Renate Club and gigs at other venues like Club der Visionäre, Hoppetosse, and Plötzensee. As of April 2023, he joined Renate as one of the new resident DJs. Outside of Berlin he recently played at the infamous Radio Pirate Party in Paris and is bound to make more appearances internationally in the near future. Sound-wise Moses is going his own way, blending an eclectic mix that ranges from microhouse, rave classics, drum & bass, and electro to straight-up techno and trance. Drawing on years behind the curtain working on events and labels honing his taste and ears he finally stepped out of the shadows to share his very own take on a night (or day) out. One night you’ll be hearing him play a 3,5h Techno Set at Renate, another time you’ll hear him play IDM and House at Club der Visionäre, always aiming to deliver a unique and occasion-fitting journey. Playing what feels right at the moment and not letting anyone put him in a box might best describe his approach to DJing and also music in general.
